After going through a split and divorce, the world around me got pretty rough and I had many lows that inspired me to write about what I experienced and felt. As a songwriter, I had to find what made me vulnerable and dig deep to bring out the emotions I had pent up. This song was created from those emotions and a hard time in my life! This song is a slow ballad with acoustic, bass, and electric guitars accompanying my vocals. I wanted my vocals to stand out in front with raw emotion and grit!
